Monument of Courage
One of the most valuable monuments of Tashkent is a monument to the courage, erected after the horrible earthquake of 1966 (8.3 points). There is a black cube on the podium, which depicts the date and time of the earthquake (April 26, 1966 5:00 AM 24 minutes). The monument itself is presented in the form of a figure of a woman, held her child and a man, who shielded them with his chest from the scourge.
