The Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov, as well as other international airports of the cities of Uzbekistan, launched a double channel system. From January 1, 2018, individuals have the option of choosing either a “green” or “red” channel as a form of declaring goods for non-commercial purposes during customs operations.

In addition, from January 1, 2018, a written declaration of imported and exported cash foreign currency to $ 2,000 was abolished. Nowadays, it became possible to import and export such amount of currency, which do not exceed 5000 dollars.
