In the first half of 2018, Samarkand and Valencia (Spain) will become twin cities.
This agreement was made during the business leader of the Samarkand administration in Spain, where the khokim studied the tourist experience of Valencia.
It is also planned to hold a cultural and tourist event “Days of Samarkand in Valencia” where people can learn about the sights of Samarkand and find out everything about tourism in Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan culture.
Samarkand has already become twin cities with over 20 cities from different parts of the world. For example, with Istanbul (Turkey), Balkh (Afghanistan), Bremen (Germany), Samara (Russia), Lyon (France), Florence (Italy), etc.
