Fergana Regional Museum
Fergana Regional Museum was opened in 1899 on the day of the centennial of the birth of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin. At the time of opening of the museum, there were about 2220 exhibits in the form of books and other items. Today, the archaeological collection was replenished to 10,000 items, and a large part of the museum collection consists of original photographs and documents showing the ancient and the modern life of the region.
