In 1987, thanks to the efforts of academician S. Asimov had been completed the construction of unique scientific object in Parkent (district of Tashkent region). The uniqueness of the object is its rarity: the world’s only two of these (the other in France). The complex is located 1050 meters above sea level and includes three main elements: heliostat field, a large mirror and a technological hub with solar oven tower.
