Square in the heart of Tashkent, privileged to wear the name of Amir Timur, is one of the most favorite places of the locals, especially the youth. In the center of the square there is a monument in the form of a bronze silhouette of the great commander – Amir Timur, sitting on horseback. The area is surrounded by a well-known hotel “Uzbekistan”, the building of one of the most prestigious universities of the country (Law School), the Tashkent chimes, and one of the best facilities in capital – Palace of Forums.
