In 1997, the Museum of handicrafts was awarded the status of a state, and from that time it became known as the Museum of Applied Arts.

Today there are more than 7,000 objects of arts and crafts as embroidery, skullcaps, Suzanne, decorations, carpets from the time of the 19th century and to the present days.
