Ming Urik (5th century)
The rise of Ming Urik (Thousand dried apricots) in the heart of the capital city takes its name from the previously located apricot garden.
In ancient times, the settlement covered an area of 41 hectares, but only 16 meters high knoll has preserved until today.
In 2008, by newly resumed excavations were found remains of a temple, which allowed to claim that Tashkent is at least 2,200 years (2,000 years was supposed previosly).
