One of the oldest museums of Uzbekistan considered the Museum of Cultural History in Samarkand (1896).

Today, the museum consists of department of History, Department of Arts, Department of Archaeology Fund, ethnography, numismatics, etc.

Several thousand exhibits, including rare objects from various eras and countries, make up a unique collection.
