Bolo-Khauz complex is the only architectural monument on the Registan Square, which has been preserved to our days. The ensemble consists of a reservoir Bolo Khauz( “children’s pond”), a minaret and a beautiful Friday Mosque, which, according to some sources, was built on the orders of the wife of the Emir of Bukhara.
