According to the popular tourist site of China “qyer.com”, Samarkand entered the list of the best places to visit in 2018 for Chinese and foreign citizens. The awarding ceremony was timed to coincide with the opening of the international exhibition of the tourism market of ITV China 2018.

Today Samarkand is the baggage of history. Due to the surviving monuments of architecture, spiritual values, the town was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
