Qatar Airways has launched regular flights from Doha to Tashkent. The flights are operated by Airbus 320 aircraft four times a week.

Qatar Airways operated its first scheduled flight to Tashkent from Doha on June 2. An Airbus 320 plane of the Qatari airline landed in the capital of Uzbekistan at 1:30 pm.

The plans include increasing the number of flights to Tashkent, as well as launching new flights to Bukhara and Samarkand.

Tashkent became the second city in Central Asia after Almaty, where the Qatari airline Qatar Airways operates flights.

Qatar Airways is the national air carrier of Qatar with headquarters in Doha. The company operates flights to more than 170 destinations around the world. It has been awarded many prestigious awards and seven times recognized as the “Best Airline in the World” according to Skytrax.
