Festival “Silk and spices” in Bukhara

From 26 to 28 May 2017 in Bukhara, the XVI Festival “Silk and Spices” will be held.
In the framework of this annual festival, it is planned to organize a variety of different events.
At the food fair, located in the historic part of the city, the products will be presented by entrepreneurs and seasoners who have come to the festival from all over the country and from abroad.
Master craftsmen will conduct master classes and displays of traditional Uzbek folk crafts, including carpet weaving, pottery and blacksmithing, gold embroidery, etc.
It will be presented folk games as lamb and cockfighting, walking on the rope and etc.
“Palov Sayli” (“Plov Festival”) will bring together the best chefs from different regions, giving the opportunity for lovers of national cuisine to enjoy delicious food and to witness culinary competitions.
Together with the public movement of youth “Kamolot” and the Association of Artisans “Hunarmand” it is planned to organize a defile and show clothes from the leading young designers from the atlas and adras.
Also there will be concerts of folklore groups representing different regions of the country and a gala concert with the participation of popular and talented young artists.
