Like many other architectural monuments of Samarkand, Bibi-Khаnum Mosque shrouded beautiful legend. According to legend, the great commander ordered the best artisans to build a mosque, which would immortalize Tamerlane love to his wife Bibi-Khаnum.

Unfortunately, this mosque with sky-blue dome over time started to collapse.
