Among many facilities of Kushan era, archaeologists are particularly interested in ancient settlement of Dalverzintepa. There are suggestions that the city was surrounded by defensive ramparts, which was destroyed and then rebuilt again. However, today only the findings of researchers and ruins stretching (2.5 km) have remained. In 1972, archaeologists conducted excavations where they discovered real gold treasure, weighing 32 kg. The ceramic vessel preserved jewelry of gold, silver and precious stones, as well as chess pieces made of ivory. Moreover, today, this area still holds many secrets that are needed to be unraveling.
