Khodja Ahrar played a huge role in shaping the history of Uzbekistan. Due to his political status, he had made many reforms and changes that had a positive impact on the life of the whole population.

In the 17th century, after more than 150 years after the death of Khoja Ahrar, the ruler of Samarkand ordered the construction of a mosque and madrassah near the grave. A few centuries later, the band added a minaret and avian.
