IMPORTANT NOTE!
Kindly be informed you that from January 1, 2018, the “Green” and “Red” corridors have been organized at the customs posts of all the International Airports of Uzbekistan. It means that a passenger who has a foreign currency with an equivalent not exceeding $ 2,000 and have not any goods that need to be declared, he can pass through the “Green corridor” without filling out the customs declaration and save time. In all other cases, the passenger must fill in the customs declaration and pass through the “Red corridor”.

 

1. CUSTOMS DECLARATION OF THE FORM T-6
During passing customs control the Customs Declaration Form T-6  should be filled in by any person reached 16 by declaring in this Form cash currencies (exceeding the equivalent of US $ 2,000), traveller’s cheques and valuable items.
An information about persons below 16 year and their valuable items are declared in the Customs Declaration Forms of their parents and relatives or accompanied by them persons by indicating on the top of left of this form the relationship, full name and date of birth.
Lost the Customs Declaration is not renewed and its holder is not enabled to freely shift items, indicated in Form

2. IMPORT OF CASH OF FOREIGN CURRENCY
Import of cash foreign currency into Uzbekistan by any persons (both residents and non-residents of Uzbekistan) within the amount equal to or not exceeding the equivalent of US $ 2,000 can be done without obligatory written declaration.
When importing the cash foreign currency exceeding of US $ 2,000 in equivalent, the entire amount must be writing declared. The owner of the currency must mention the entire amount of imported cash foreign currency into the customs declaration.
Import of cash foreign currency by any persons to Uzbekistan can be done without any limits.

3. EXPORT OF FOREIGN CURRENCY FROM THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN
Export of cash foreign currency out of Uzbekistan by any persons (both residents and non-residents of Uzbekistan) within the amount equal to or not exceeding the equivalent of US $ 2,000 can be done without obligatory written declaration.
When exporting the cash foreign currency exceeding of US $ 2,000 in equivalent, the entire amount must be writing declared. The owner of the currency must mention the entire amount of imported cash foreign currency into the customs declaration.
Export of cash foreign currency from Uzbekistan by any persons can be done without any permits within the amount equal to or not exceeding the equivalent of US $ 5,000.
Export of amounts exceeding the equivalent of US $ 5,000 should be done by residents of Uzbekistan on the basis of the permission of the Central Bank of the country, and by non-residents – on the basis of a passenger customs declaration filled in at the entrance to Uzbekistan, but amount of cash foreign currency indicated in customs declaration should be no less than the exported amount.
