Silk Road Bazaar Festival to be held in Samarkand

According to the press service of State Committee for Tourism Development, from 24 to 26 August Samarkand will hold a festival of handicraft and trade in the style of the eastern bazaar. During the festival, the artisans will hold master classes. The fair of bakery products, national cuisine and oriental delicacies will also be organized. Guests can also enjoy national folklore and show of young talents.

Today Samarkand is the baggage of history. Due to the surviving monuments of architecture, spiritual values, the town was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
