Samarkand introduces the traditions of the Ancient East

In the Samarkand theater of historical costumes, now it became possible to get acquainted with original traditions and customs in the Ancient East. The viewer will be offered performance “along the Silk Road”, in which the eastern life, way of life, traditions and customs of the most ancient period will be revealed to this day.

Each element of the costume carries a story, whether it is a color, shape, ornament or costume design. Now on Sundays guests of Samarkand, as well as tourists, can plunge into the historical events of the Ancient East. It will be possible to contemplate militant Saks and Massogets, learn the whole truth about the Ahmenidy Empire, get acquainted with the dances of the gods and much more.

Today Samarkand is the baggage of history. Due to the surviving monuments of architecture, spiritual values, the town was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
