As in many countries, where it is snows, our people have traditions and superstitions in connection to this occurrence too. The most popular of the traditions is concerned with the first snow.
"Snowy message" is the tradition came from ancient times, and is held nowadays. People according to some rules write "snowy message" to one of their friends or neighbors and must give it to him or put it into hid pocket insensibly.
The letter can be delivered by the author on himself or by another man. But after the message is given, the man who gave it must run away from this house without being caught. In another case he will be ought to do the terms written in the message himself.
Usually the purpose of the �snowy message� was to compel �the opinion� to arrange a festival, so in a message it is written about the place, date, quantity of people participating in festival. Also, by tradition it was shown the names of the meals, and the names of the guests. The main idea is that during this festival devoted to the first snow, leave behind all the quarrels and offences, people took conversations, sang songs, danced and joked.
