Akabar house was built in 1850 by a Jewish Bukhara merchant, and has a specific Jewish style of construction.
It includes large summer patio and winter hall; wooden "ayvan", which is made of 21 beams and 2 columns. The height of the columns is 8 meters.
The original ornamentation is well preserved and since the building has never been restored, it has kept its ancient spirit and decor.
The owner of this house was a merchant who left Bukhara for Tashkent in 1925. After his escape, the house was bought by a Jewish family.
