Shakhname hotel is situated in the center of Samarkand in a picturesque corner of the ancient city, two steps away from the Alisher Navoi monument, the University Boulevard, and the Central Park of Culture and Recreation. Not far from the hotel are such historical and architectural monuments as the Amir Timur sepulcher, the Gur-Emir, Rukhabat, the Heart of Samarkand, the Regis architectural ensemble, and the garden of Poets and Summer Theater.

The hotel is a two story (6 double and 3 triple rooms) building with a view of the Alisher Navoi monument. It is equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, Internet, and refrigerators. There is a restaurant and a bar. The restaurant can accommodate up to 30 guests, and it offers both European and Uzbek cuisines. It is suitable for banquets, jubilees, and romantic dinners.
