Fair, Festival and Eastern Fairy in One Go

Organizers of the tourist fair TITF-2010 are going to conduct a bright and unusual holiday of the international tourism in Tashkent.

This year, PC NEC Uzexpocentr is to serve as a venue for the next Tashkent International Tourist Fair (TITF) Tourism on Silk Road that is considered the organizer of thematic, international exhibitions both in Uzbekistan and abroad.

Aza Holmatova, Director General of PC NEC Uzexpocentr dwells upon the preparations for this international tourist event, annually organized in our country under the aegis of the UN WTO, as well as what exposition specialists and visitors would see:

This year Tashkent International Tourist Fair Tourism on Silk Road will bring together professionals of national and foreign tourist industry for strengthening partnership with a view of further development of tourism sphere. Such actions attract considerable number of professionals interested in cooperation with representatives of the tourist market of our country, as well as tourists who demonstrate keen interest in exploring the Uzbek culture.

At the same time the forthcoming exhibition that is to take place on 7-8 October, 2010, rather different in scales: she has turned out into festival bright, fascinating, entertaining and informative event.

Organizers have already entitled it as the International Tourist Festival Eastern Fairy 2010, and it appears that such name will inspire the existing TITF brand with new content.

It is planned that the fair-festival will take place in the third and fourth pavilions of Uzexpocentr. The atrium connecting these pavilions among themselves will also be brought into play, as well as all open spaces on picturesque bank of the capital channel Ankhor. By the way, only the exposition area will have more than 6, 5 square kilometers.

This year, for the first time, it is planned to allocate separate pavilion for the exposition of tourist potential of Uzbekistan where the national presentation will take place. According to the exposition concept, the pavilion will be divided thematically into several parts.

For instance, the exposition Uzbekistan Tourism Country will be the main one, stands under the general names Transport Services, Hotel Business Major Complex Component of Tourism Industry, and Restaurants of Uzbekistan will be placed next to it.

Performances of artists, circus collectives, jesters and rope-walkers at the central avenue are also planned in order to create celebratory atmosphere during the international tourist forum.

The festive program will also include performances of both folklore and variety collectives from regions of the republic, as well as fashion show of clothes by Uzbek designers.

Visitors of the exhibition will have the opportunity to visit the eastern market as well. Specially styled benches representing all the diverse of souvenir products, eastern sweets, special aroma of spices, as well as the traditional hospitality of salespeople in national suits, will recreate the atmosphere of the eastern bazaar. All comers to try dishes of the Uzbek cuisine would visit the traditional teahouse that will be allocated in front of the fourth pavilion.

Within the exposition it is planned to organize the art-gallery and photo-exhibition at the atrium hall in accordance with the festival theme.

It should be noted that convenient location and opportunities of PC NEC Uzexpocentr that includes not only exposition complex, but a health-improving-entertaining complex with aquapark, Japanese garden, children's park and cableway, will allow to attract even more quantity of visitors.

Eastern Fairy 2010 is getting prepared to receive guests.
