Art week Style.uz is held by Fund Forum in common with
Tashkent house
of style since 2006. The project provides various art-menus consisting of defiles
of national and foreign designers, presentations, master classes, art and
fashion exhibitions, young designers contests, concerts of stars of
international variety art, events of high society. Among guests of the art week
there are famous couturiers, artists, musicians, owners of jewelry and
fashion-brands, persons of consequences of arts world, culture and fashion, representatives
of international media, show business stars.
The calendar graphic of the week includes
defiles from leading designers of Uzbekistan and foreign houses of fashion, a
large-scale exhibition of applied arts, design and fashion, exposition of
antiques, fine arts, auction, Festival of national dress, demonstration of
young designers - Underground, master classes from leading mondial designers
and specialists from different spheres of arts, and also events of high society.
In context of Art Week-2009 inTashkent was
held international Biennale of modern arts. Style.uz is pointed to support talented
young people and providing grants for experts of textile and weaving arts devoted
themselves to reviving of longstanding technologies of textile production, cut,
etc. Art Week Style.uz is a project, pointed to development of international collaboration
in different arts and support of creative persons. It is held with support of major
native and international structures and social organizations, including UNESCO,
UNICEF and British Council.
